British cartoonists show a weakened, over-apologetic USA
Political cartoonists from our nation’s closest foreign ally are skewering the US and its leadership over perceived weaknesses toward Islamist extremists – and Muslims in general who seek to dictate their views.
British cartoonists are shredding the White House for what the satirists see as an acommodationist, over-apologetic attitude that diminishes the prestige and credibility of the US around the world.
Some of those cartoons follow. These are rare for most Americans to see, so we are showing a few of them so that we can consider the public diplomacy effects, and the overall damaged image the US has abroad, not only in the eyes of its enemies, but in the eyes of its closest friends and allies.
